Traversing 8 Conlay is an event for a preview of the hotel residency. The concept was to bring the vibe of the 8 Conlay Hotel Residency into the main HQ of KSK Land. With only 4 floors functioning during the event, visitors were ushered across the emergency staircase when going downstairs as they experienced each floor, coordinated in distinct styles.
Commissioned to transform the stairwell with visuals and lighting, we placed 10 pieces of 60-inch LED TV along the 3 floor's wall. Featuring visuals/aesthetics made from the finest elegance of 8 Conlay such as marble, fine steel, and gold lines, we reconstructed the classic old fire emergency staircase into a mesmerising visual enjoyment.

LIGHT DIMENSION
In collaboration with Dzarull Jeffry, who drew and co-designed the mural, we projected visuals of lines, colors, and shapes onto the black-and-white mural, infusing depth and exploring its dimensions on a flat wall. The installation invited the audience to feast on the cinematic-like visual effects as they dove into various dimensional perspectives that shifted on diverse projected visuals. Some found the mural floating, some saw a literal sticker, some enjoyed the depth, some conjured illusions, and some were just having fun for insta-worthy shots.
LIGHT PIECES
Created by Teddx, this project explored the potential of visual projection of physical mass/sculptures in mid-air, and how it can decorate and fill the space. Using minimal yet carefully crafted and selected materials, the pieces were made into different shapes, weights, and placements with an experimental touch. Then we placed a visual projection from below and reflected it with a mirror at the top so the visuals were shown at the front and subtly at the back of the sculptures. On top of that, we placed a box at each corner which triggered different visuals in the installations as visitors passed through, surprising them with distinct visual effects.

This project executed an installation on the MMU FCM garden, to remind people who spend too much of their time in Cyber-Blue (internet), labs theories, and desks why we enjoyed running through the local garden when we were young, to look at the green and recall the time when we want to remain at the “Never-land” and live in the tree forever. There were plants covering the garden and we installed artworks of installations, sculptures, and more in planning concerning nature.
