Local’s current most sought-after DJ, rEmPiT g0dDe$$ introduced and resurfaced the underground “rempit” sounds into a widely phenomenal acceptance for the electronic music scene. Even globally when she was featured in the Boiler Room show during the Maho Rasop Festival in Bangkok. IYKYK, previously (and still actively) staging as “Viktoria”, her singer-songwriter pursuits, defined her movement between two worlds of experimental music projects. Being raised in a family with a strong musical influence and fine arts lineage, Zafree definitely not only focuses on architecture and interior design but delves deeper into the creative multimedia field, which he claimed: “that draw upon by my perception and understanding towards the earth, observing humans and nature while questioning the themes of living existence that surrounds me, in the intersection between virtual reality and our very own divine mortality, fictive narratives, and imagined evolution with a visual direction through experimentation, documentation, and process translations, acting as an interdisciplinary architectural agitator and a practitioner in relation to exploring the new.”..... .. . . 🕳️ Deep 🕳️ And we fckin luv it.

Part of the Dirgahayu, Trifecta, and Angqasa band, Yan always piloting the spaceship with his usual synthesizers – keyboards, modulars, sequencers, pedal effects, analog synths… you can imagine his usual appearance is basically sh*tloads of wires/cables to be honest. The man’s vast knowledge of musical exploration can be seen through his ventures in his bands, assembling post-rock, math-rock, shoegaze, electronic experimental ambient (no sh*t with all that gears), and even indie-pop with his Trifecta band. Yan told us his set is perfect to start up the all-electronic-live-sets night session since he said it would be moody, deep, experimental sounds with minor keys. He starts at around 6.30PM so come early!! We don’t know either what he’s gonna do but we all know we would be surprised & amazed by his solo experiment for our humbled, small gig 🙏🏼 Big ups Yan and keep on tinkering!

Subsequently, these theories were further addressed through the implementation of soundwalks and technical approaches. In profession, Ikki is a lecturer teaching how to use PureData and TouchDesigner for creative multimedia students. Her passion for teaching expands on releasing some YouTube tutorials on @yikee4500 , showing examples of audio-reactive projects, image instancing, and Voronoi-inspired artworks. All that and she balanced her life with anime amusements, lotsa marathon and mountain climbings/hikings. Health is always the priority! 🙂✨

His versatile – sonically diversity never underwhelmed with the experimentation of percussions and low-ends. But who knows, this time, featuring an all-vinyl set, he might play some chill Sundaze choons, UK garage, and Bonobo-esque + James Blake-y sounds for the 4PM sesh. Low, who runs the Blackbody Emission company – the digital art studio focused entirely or mostly on TouchDesigner has made a lot of art + technology experiences and multi-sensory immersive projects. Scoring projects with top companies such as Sime Darby, Petronas, CelcomDigi and expanding works up to China, Ignatius now returns to share his knowledge by actively making plenty of small TouchDesigner workshops/sharing sessions featuring different artists/programmers. In response, little do we know that he plays an important role in growing, gathering, and developing the local TouchDesigner community. Low, who runs the Blackbody Emission company – the digital art studio focused entirely or mostly on TouchDesigner has made a lot of art + technology experiences and multi-sensory immersive projects. Scoring projects with top companies such as Sime Darby, Petronas, CelcomDigi and expanding works up to China, Ignatius now returns to share his knowledge by actively making plenty of small TouchDesigner workshops/sharing sessions featuring different artists/programmers. In response, little do we know that he plays an important role in growing, gathering, and developing the local TouchDesigner community. The youngest in the lineup, representing women empowerment, these ladies surprised us with their creativity and expressions going b2b during the organiser’s past AV event: Hereinafter. With music mixed by them featuring the likes of Bathe, DPR IAN, Abstract Aprils, Tobi Lou, Kaho Matsui, and definitely a lot of Tame Impala and the remixes to fuse the teenage-induced youthfulness. As for the visuals – a lot of pacifying visuals, colourful particles, slow-motion psychedelic flows, and 3D-like water. Matching the spacious sounds/music, their visuals are more cinematic style and not the typical trigger-play type of performance. Sometimes they used VHS tape and mirroring/kaleidoscope effects to fit the nostalgic indie vibes. The experience was lucid for the mind, and hopefully, their fun times’ experiment playing at this event will turn out to be another memorable Sundaze. We wanna support your creative journey, and we want more local woman VJs please!

Formerly known as TKI. Also known as Takashi Aiman for creative works. Founded the late creative multimedia AV team The Tomoe and is now running Visionist Sanctuary. An active contributor to the local AV scene, devotee of heavy sub basslines, and playing anything between 130 - 175 BPM with assured vibrating frequencies. Hanis Hani once tried to innovate primordial sound meditation by literally taking the term “meditate to bassweight” to a real experience by creating a ±2 meter cubic soundproof box-room that can fit two seated people in it and let them play with different near-infrasounds frequencies, which gives different kinds of physical vibrations together incorporating visuals to compliment the experience. Referencing the product SubPac, except that this utilised the overall environment, and some people literally (almost) fell asleep inside the box. Hanis Hani’s set will definitely offer an unexpected sub-bass experience and music.
